The Folklore Advisory Service(s)|consultations and Documentation Centre is a service and research institution. It is located in the Thuringian Open-Air Museum Hohenfelden, is financed by the Thuringian State Chancellery and is supported by a scientific advisory board. People and organisations interested in folklore can contact the two research assistants working there, Jana Kämpfe M.A. and Dr Juliane Stückrad. On the one hand, they impart specialised knowledge, but in return they also receive suggestions for scientific questions. They try to take these up, bundle them, work on them scientifically or arouse the interest of the institutionally anchored facility|institution|(structural) units in order to make them accessible to the public again with the help of various formats such as workshops or publications. The Folklore Advisory Service(s)|consultations and Documentation Centre for Thuringia sees itself as an interface between scientific theory and practical implementation.
