Syria after the Fall of the Assad Regime

Am 14. Mai, 18:30 Uhr, hält Dr. Carsten Wieland (Associate Fellow at Geneva Centre for Security Policy) einen Vortrag zur aktuellen Situation in Syrien im Rahmen der Chair of International Relations / Arabic Studies Joint Lecture Series. Dr. Wieland war von 2019 bis 2021 als Berater für die Syria Peace Initiative der GIZ tätig und hat zudem zwei Monographien zur Lage in Syrien publiziert: Syria and the Neutrality Trap: The Dilemmas of Delivering Humanitarian Aid through Violent Regimes (2021) und Syria - A Decade of Lost Chances: Repression and Revolution from Damascus Spring to Arab Spring (2012).
