After a military coup, Zviad Gamsakhurdia (Hossein Mahjoub), first president of Georgia, flees into the Western Mountains of the country. Gamsakhurdia grew up in that harsh mountain region and according to all accounts, loyal supporters and troops shall wait there for their rightful president and with their help he could regain control of the country. But not only are the president and his companions faced with the challenges of arduous paths over snowcovered mountains and pathless passes, through deep forests and torrents, they are harassed by constantly present persecutors. As it proves that there is to trace of the the allegedly loyal troops to be found in the village of Khibula, Gamsakhurdia starts doubting about his allies and soon isn't able to distinguish between dream and reality any longer ...

Within the winter semester of 2019/20 the Rare Disciplines of the Friedrich Schiller University's Arts Faculty introduced themselves: The series of events, called "Rare Discipline Weeks", unites widely different types of presentation aiming at making the range of the subjects' variety visible as well as letting objects and perspectives of the Rare Disciplines coming more into the university's and public focus. The programm ranges with its 96 individual events from A as in Armenian Folk Dances to Z as in Zeus's Love Affairs and shows how multifaceted the everyday life of study and research within the Rare Disciplines can be.
