Gastvortrag: Dr. Stephanie O'Rourke (University of St. Andrews)
Die Kunstwissenschaftlerin Stephanie O'Rourke wird ausgehend von ihrem aktuellen Buch "Picturing Landscape in an Age of Extraction Europe and Its Colonial Networks, 1780–1850" (University of Chicago Press, 2025) zum Thema "Romantic Extraction and the Colonial Forest" sprechen. Dabei wird sie sich dem Zusammenhang von Kunst, Romantik und Extraktion widmen und das 19. Jahrhundert vor dem Hintergrund von Klimaveränderungen und kolonialen Zugriffen beleuchten.
